Web-Based Intake
The pastor, principal, or other organizational leader serves as the gatekeeper for the counseling services. That person will oversee referrals for members. Once a referral has been made, the member will have access to services via a link on their organization’s Web site or WLCFS Web site. This link will provide the member with a description of services and obtain general intake information. Once the intake information has been submitted, a representative from the Member Assistance Program will contact them by phone within 24 hours to schedule an appointment for counseling.
Security of information submitted online is dealt with using very strict standards to protect confidentiality. An SSL certificate will guarantee that all data is transmitted securely on the Internet from client to server.
