In order to provide quality Christian programs like Faith Stepping Stones and Peer Leadership, a high-quality staff of trainers is needed.  The goal of the Christian Leadership Training staff is:

  • to nurture God's people through his Word,
  • to reach out to the lost with the gospel, and
  • to strengthen God's people in their respective leadership roles.

Rick Loewen, Director of Christian Family Resources

Prior to joining WLCFS, Rick spent 20 years in law enforcement and 5 years as a missionary to the White Mountain Apache reservation, where he developed a youth and family program that continues today.

Rick says, “In my work at WLCFS, I often look to 1 Corinthians 16:13 to guide me: ‘Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.’ It serves as a reminder that in whatever we do, God wants us to remain strong in our faith.”
