On June 8, 2008, WLCFS officially broke ground in Hartford, WI, to begin construction on its new senior living facility. Although the service itself had to be held indoors at Peace Ev. Lutheran Church due to inclement weather, the rain stopped long enough to allow a ceremonial breaking of the ground on the construction site.
