 Pre-Placement Assessments
The WELS Board for World Missions conducts Pre-Placement Assessments for all called workers holding a Call to a world mission field to determine the psychological and personality fitness and suitability for mission work in an overseas environment.
Re-Entry Consultation
Re-entry consultations are offered to facilitate a positive re-entry experience for the returning missionary and family in their transition to their home country.
Furlough Consultation
Life situations in the mission field may create stress for the individual as well as the marriage and family. As such, there may be times when it is beneficial also to schedule an appointment with a mental health professional who will be able to identify problems and suggest appropriate recommendations.
Professional Counseling
There may be times when professional counseling is recommended for called mission workers after being evaluated and assessed.
Consultation
Our staff offers consultations to individuals or groups within the Board for World Missions regarding issues of the care or concern of Missions personnel or systems that affect Missions personnel.
